Democratic politicians need to stop accepting Trump’s white nationalist premise that immigration is bad and proudly and loudly make a positive case for why America’s identity and history as a nation of immigrants is so important.

There is virtually no fed criminal law for wealthy people in America right now. Doesn’t exist. Trump’s DOJ either drops their charges or he pardons them. Anyone can buy their way out of prison for the right price on any charge, with crime victims left shattered with no justice.

The worst part about the boat strikes - regardless of who ordered what and besides the ultimate tragedy of lives lost - is they’re forever a stain on the professionalism and dignity of the United States military.

This is the first Thanksgiving for Sophie & Colin Hortman without their parents, Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and Mark Hortman who were assassinated along with the family dog in an act of political murder. National guards troops were not deployed to the state in response.

My aunt was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer & isn’t expected to live to see the new year. My mom has 10 siblings, & this will be the 1st to pass. They span from 89 to 76 years old. Not sure why I’m telling you. Maybe because it feels better to tell strangers given all the changes in my life.

The military has a duty to refuse unlawful orders, but Congress has a duty to remove from office a president and secretary who would issue such orders. There is something off about members of Congress talking about the former while refusing to say the latter, the part that's actually their job here.

Why did the administration insist on taking dyes out of foods if they were just going to allow dumping poisons on them? Let me guess. They’ll change the rules for using “organic” on labels too.
The EPA is starting to allow the use of pesticides containing PFAS on food. The move is part of an effort to roll back the regulation of PFAS — also known as "forever chemicals" because they don't break down easily in the environment.
