Because they will not keep the debate online. They will trace your IP address and send goons to your door to see if you're deportable if you get their attention.
Depends just how big. 100 meters? Not a problem. 1000 meters? A significant financial and logistical challenge, but still ultimately achievable. 10,000 meters? Still beyond current materials science.
Of course, everyone becoming a billionaire has happened a few times in history as well. It's called hyperinflation and it sucks, because your money devalues day-to-day and gets passed around like a hot potato.
"We have Jared Leto at home. No, seriously, can you help, he never leaves the house."
David Bowie putting together Tin Machine.
Too many normies follow me now. Ive lost my edge. I need to be more purposefully offputting.
And if they do, you can always have a clear paper trail by saving the messages or recording the video.
Reshape the world so everyone has access to luxuries not even billionaires have now is a much more laudable goal, and achievable as well. (AS Plumbing, electricity, TV, Internet, etc demonstrate.)
Many of the Internet's problems are because it removes physical punishment from the table, leaving social shaming or banning the only way of keeping people in line. 25 years of that has selected for the most shameless people rising to the highest positions of power.
That's the shit that prematurely ended Prince's career. Keeping on playing through stuff like that is an easy way to wind up hooked on painkillers.

An inanimate concept doesn't need anything, it's just that some people are always horny, so they'll try to insert it anywhere. (particularly teenagers, which makes all the extra effort to age-gate things lately all the more ironic.)
They need to treat it like jail bonds. Make both sides put a significant sum of money in escrow and the side that breaks ceasefire first loses their money.

Next time my brother has a project to launch, the liner notes need a 'no thanks to' section – for every magazine that claims to rep for DIY projects, but didn't even write back to turn down the last album.

Time for this again! To the tune of If You're Happy and You Know It.
For a good decade, it did work like that. You only saw what people you actively followed posted (Apart from a few adverts) and could read everything they posted in a day unless you followed a ridiculous number of people. Then they had to get greedy with "suggested for you" glurge and here we are. 😭
Only if you post. If you never post, you can't be wrong. Of course, you can't be right either, existing in a perpetual state of Schrodinger's uncertainty until you do something that can be observed.
“But behold — are we not all wrong on the Internet?” - modern King Benjamin, probably
David Cronenberg's My Little Pony: The ringing of Grogar's bell causes anypony who hears it's ears to bloodily explode. He uses that power to carve a reign of terror through Equestria until Rainbow Dash sacrifices her life to defeat him.

The musical elements are baffling as well. Taylor Swift doing a Jackson's Five pastiche was not on my bingo list.
My only surprise is that it isn't a pure exponential declining pyramid.
