Love ❤️ this section of the Blackrock greenway & the sweep down to the Marina. Frosty morning & a bunch of 🧍‍♀️🧍🧍‍♂️ on 🚲 going to work & school safely away from 🚗🚙. Getting a bit of fresh air & exercise. It's about 0°C/32°F at the time. We get almost everywhere within 15 mins because of this route.

A key benefit of wide bike infrastructure is that it's cheaper and more efficient to maintain.

When a bike lane is wide enough for standard city sweepers and plows, you don't need a separate, specialized fleet.

Good design is fiscally responsible.

The social contract is broken every day by motorists like this - basic respect for other people. The "I'm not queuing in traffic because I'm more important than you" approach to driving. The "Fuck You & everybody else here" approach. The "I need to get to SuperValu before you" approach.
