Started playing Marisa of Liartop Mountain last night and it's very very cool. The premise of playing as characters playing a TTRPG is very charming and it pisses me off that the only other game I can think of doing it is Borderlands but it's at least more abstracted and therefore less cool there.

First shmup clear was Deathsmiles, sometime early 2016 when the Steam port came out. Not too much of a story behind it, just saw it come out and it looked cool and then my brain got cooked. Nice comfy easy game to start with.

Such a fun IL, been grinding it most of the day. Was worried Knightmare routing would be less fun due to the level design being more strict but nah game's still awesome to move fast in.

I think my goal for 2026 will be to play as many Platine Dispositif games at a high level as possible, as to manifest a 2026 release date for Bloodmonger. The first will be Super Zangyura Knightmare speedruns, coming when I'm done routing.

Can't stop thinking about this fight. The block you're on gets destroyed every other hit and there's not enough blocks to win the fight so you have to use her own attacks to manip her position so that you can land a jumping attack over the gaps.
Made to the final boss of Super Zangyura Knightmare and Christ Murasame is an unbelievable game design genius, dude made one of the hardest video game bosses I've ever played and it's attack deals 0 damage. Such a unbelievable spacing, planning and patience test I've never seen anything like it.
