At UMD, I took a class in ‘Theory and Practice of Fascism.’ In a lecture, the professor mentioned one of the NSDAP’s propaganda stories about Hitler was that he took the controls of an airplane caught in a bad storm and safely got the plane out.

The Leader must be superior! Infallible!
Duffy: "Can I make one other point about POTUS before we're out of time? I have never seen someone work so hard. All day long he's moving, he's meeting, he's thinking. Dinners he's usually meeting with people. And then at night he's still on the phone calling people! He doesn't stop. He's a machine"

I have taken leave today and Monday (we call it situational furlough, because bullshit). As usual, I have a metric shitton of things to do, but a kitten has fallen asleep on my lap and I am stuck.

Young Master Gilbert is an absolute moron.
I swear our foster kitten Gilbert (aka Gibby the Goober) was an orange cat in a previous life and someone neglected to do a factory reset.

Fuck yeah
A strong, integrated military. Robust support for the Atlantic Alliance. Bloodless, flannel suit wearing killers in the IC.

Aggressive civil rights reforms and national health insurance at home, the Marshall Plan abroad.

And a 91% marginal tax rate.

Not surprising that the Administration seems like they are planning ignore the law and stiff furloughed feds.

Especially since my agency had those of us who were essential/excepted record our time as furloughed.

Hate doing this, because everyone is skint, but Oz is the only important thing in my life and I'm too broke to cover his additional surgery. If you'd like to help, please use OZVET20 at checkout on fenrisgames.com/shop for a nice discount or ko-fi.com/fenrisgames if you don't need toys.
Thankyou 💔

Make a plan to vote!
Pennsylvania has an important Supreme Court race coming up on Tuesday, November 4. If you live in the Keystone State, or know someone who does, vote YES to retain three justices who will protect your fundamental rights and freedoms.

It’s the time of year to remind everyone that sweater vests are both tactical and practical. Your core is warm but your arms are free to unleash mayhem.
