This is my absolute favorite movie, like it so much I got a first edition of the J.G. Ballard book it’s based on. And the soundtrack is just incredible.

Oh these were the best! I loved them so much and at one point my parents were like: You have all the animal ones, do you want the dinosaur ones too? My response was: Wait, they have dinosaur cards?!?

Not sure if this is also required, but Marvel had a maxi-print shirt of the “I am Magneto!” panel above. This would’ve been quite the statement shirt.

And the whole two-page ad in UXM283 (1991). Spidey vs Morbius, anyone?

Question: does anyone else prefer a bagel with a smaller hole so any spread/schmear doesn’t drip out the middle?

Also works so much better when making a bagel breakfast sandwich imo. Just wondering.

Made cinnamon raisin bagels today, instead of my go-to everything, sesame or poppy.

Followed King Arthur Baking suggestions for soaking raisins (hot water 10 min) and folding them in after kneading. I’ll fix the form/shape a bit next time, or not. They’re all for me!

Promised myself I’m not gonna post a ton here, cause it takes away from reading time.

But I’m def not skipping the first appearance of Bishop, UXM #282. A character I routinely feel like should be a much bigger presence in the X-books. Maybe the X-MCU will do Bishop justice

I can relate. I also took one longer comic break when my kids were born so I missed about a decade. Jumped back in for good in 2014.

I swear it took me 1.5 yrs to settle back in. And I was like what are all these variants, what’s CGC, and there’s an app?

Never done a read through with two series at the same time, thankfully Marvel wiki has release dates (click “More” under cover pic) for reading order.

I’m sure 95% of you know, the wiki’s a great resource for first appearances, summaries and such
