I like football!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually think the stuffing looks okay, at least it isn’t just boxed crap.

But everything else???? Is that just plain dry macaroni?!?

(You should almost always go for 2 there to make it a 2-possession game instead of kicking the PAT to go up 8)

Oh wow turns out you can’t win games by scoring 10 points and relying on “hard nosed defense”, really thought we were going to go a whole year without trying that but I guess not huh

There’s been a lot of conservative calls/decisions on big 4th downs from the bears in recent weeks.

Definitely not ideal from a head coach who’s been fantastic in playcalling/design outside of those.

Caleb gotta make that throw buddy. I know it's across your body but you got the strength my man

Ben Johnson soley responsible for that turnover on downs. Why are you running straight at Jalen Carter from 7 yards deep without even a fullback to help.

Mike Tomlin magic is winning multiple games you had no business being in because you get 5+ turnovers off teams who never turn the ball over - and then your biggest competition for the division losing a game they had no business losing because they turn the ball over 5 times against an awful defense

Just a completely imaginary OPI on that flowers TD

The fact nobody else would beat the 2 firsts + a washed DT Green Bay gave Dallas is still crazy
Only one player has recorded 12+ sacks in each of his first five seasons since they became an official stat in 1982: Micah Parsons.

Wild thing to say in defense of Apple pie, which is literally mush on the inside. Hot apples are mush, they’re a hair away from being literal baby food if they aren’t there already, and we don’t have to pretend they aren’t.
every man in sports media is an adult baby
Apple pie is bad. This is not really debatable. So is key lime pie, while we’re on the topic. Pecan pie is the 🐐 tho.

I don’t really have a strong opinion on Sanders either way other than that the talk of him going in round 1 last year was silly and 5th round QBs are usually bad

Awesome play though
What a throw from Shedeur Sanders

Ben Johnson doing his best Eberflus impression with some of these 4th and short punts today

It would be AWESOME if CBS would show the first half of these plays instead of cutting to them halfway through

Bears fans are also pushing for Rodgers to play Sunday at Chicago
Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers underwent further tests Monday that confirmed he won’t need surgery on his fractured left wrist, sources tell me and @rapsheet.bsky.social

Rodgers is pushing to play Sunday at Chicago. But doctors must clear him and his status moving forward is TBD.

All the Rodgers years stick out like sore thumbs, especially the Covid years.
Put this table together showing DYAR stats for Matthew Stafford (prorated to 17 games) compared to all the MVPs since the last non-QB MVP in 2012 (Adrian Peterson).

Stafford would have one of the highest passing values but is dead last in rushing value this year.

The NBA wouldn’t be profitable without the ridiculous number of ads they run. That’s why almost every jersey and every stadium is heavily branded by an outside corporation.

Their viewership numbers are terrible! This is literally the only way they can survive!

Inspired by @stevenruiz.bsky.social talking about Caleb Williams's time to throw, I looked at what we can call Creation Time, which is the difference between time to pressure and time to throw when pressured, then plotted it against pressure to sack rate, per FTN.

Caleb in a world on his own.

The funny thing is the people who always bring up Bernie Sanders in my mentions always miss the fact that if I were a fanboy for any politician, it would be Obama. But we shouldn’t be a fanboy/girl for any of these people. They are our employees and we should hold them to work standards.
