Mr. Hawk it's not like Obama was some kind hidden conservative, just think back to the opposition looking to jump on any slightest left lean. FOXnews and the like would've been all over it like the 2nd coming of hell, it was enough just to get the ACA over the finish line, thanks to Pelosi.. 🤔
Obama campaigned as a progressive, governed as a centrist. I don’t think he was a bad president by any means, but he could have been much better. There was an opportunity, especially from 2009-2011, to push a progressive agenda forward but he stepped back from that almost immediately.
