one of the best pathologic bits is in the Marble Nest, where one of the Tragedians says "you'd get it if you had a softer, open heart". the Bachelor leaves and comes back with a beating heart cut out of a herb bride and says "is this open enough". the tragedian says "what the fuck is wrong with you"

Gone Home is good but what if there was more than one home, and the lives of those in both homes intersected in complex and dramatic ways. Gone Home 2: Lost in New York, perhaps

in both this and System Shock 2, the best bit is the crew quarters...maybe someone should just make an immersive sim that's just this. rifling through a hotel or an apartment building (reads that Warren Spector has been trying and failing to get this exact game made for 20 years) oh well then

there are three things i really love about Prey (2017)

1. the crew quarters section
2. how frantic and uncontrollable everything feels once the military arrives and starts killing everyone
3. flying at 100 mph through space and slamming straight into a wall and dying instantly
