I would have to disagree. It's low-grade engagement bait, there purely to provoke a response, to get under people's skin. And it's working.

Yes, it's appalling, but this shitpost doesn't move that agenda forward in any way, nor is it anything we didn't already know about they see themselves.

To be honest, anything I consider procgen is below the radar of anyone who can't tell the difference. And the games that rely heaviest on it like roguelikes or DF tend to have their niche audiences already, it's not going to affect their sales.
