The Cerberus fight is brilliant! Quite tough before you learn it too. And great music
Starmer is shit, but he’s not the absolute bottom of the barrel some people make him out to be. He could do more to stop stoking the fires of Farage, though.

Been said a lot but there really hasn't ever been a better video game intro song than the one in Soul Blade

I know there's literally nothing that should be surprising anymore, I KNOW OKAY, but every once in a while I do log on and have to do a double take because the president of the United States did WHAT.
I don’t think it’s necessarily a terrible name. It’s kind of transcended the original Metroid and castlevania components now - I’m younger and didn’t play SoTN until recentlyish and I’m yet to play anything Metroid. It’s not necessarily only tied to those two games anymore and it’s useful, no?

my wife and i both have a mutual understanding that once Hades 2 releases, we won't be seeing each other for weeks
I typically play games on the harder end of the difficulty settings and then adjust accordingly. I think harder difficulty just allows me to fully explore a lot of what the game has to offer - for example, The Witcher 3 is way better on its hardest as it pushes you to use more tools available to you

Whether it's on the radio, television or at the rally - it's all the same message.

Yes - we should have diplomatic relationships with Presidents.

No - to state visits for Trump who doesn't in any way reflect our British values. Why are we normalising this man?

The endings were thematically perfect just both depressing, imo

Anyone played this? Is it any good?
I think most people are. At least I hope they are. We’re in an unprecedented age of outrage manufacturing and we have to weather the storm
It just depresses me that a symbol that’s supposed to represent a country and culture I love (even if inadequately) is so consistently co opted by the worst people around.
The most real thing that has ever been said. I still want to play KCD2 and that released in February

- you clean up that banksy?
- sure did, your honour, leaving a perfect, permanent outline, imbuing the work with real fuckin gravitas while making its point better than the artist did himself just like you asked
They erased the new Banksy mural in London. But the stain remains.
To be fair, I think I’m guilty of this. There is still much to love.

English food is also written off, but for entirely different reasons, so I can empathise with your frustration for sure

neither of these stories even rose to the top of the news cycle today and 15 years ago they would have been a weeks-long scandal so yeah, great job society

referring to metroidvanias as "hollowslop" to simultaneously piss off people who like metroidvanias, people who like hollow knight, people who want a better genre name for "metroidvania", people who are sick of the word slop being misused, and gradius fans who want to see more checkpoint recoveries
It’s always one of those moments :)

Sometimes you just need to stop whatever you're doing and contemplate the infinite majesty of Howard Shore's timeless Lord of the Rings soundtrack. This is one of those moments.
