Hana has blonde hair just above her shoulders and long bangs. Not the most stylish for the 1930s inspired world. She gets a more glamorous style later. Like classic Lauren Bacall.

Matthias has dark curly hair that he cuts himself, and it's a little messy.

Here's an appearance one that I don't think we've talked about yet: What does your character's hair look like?

Do they have hair? Long or short? What color? How do they usually wear it? Is it important to them?

Hana VERY much believes in the power of love. She is sure there are no limits. Hopefully no characters will shatter her belief! Hopefully I'm not the kind of writer who likes to crush my characters!

Love really motivates Hana. The love she has for her family and friends, for the people in the world, and romantic love. It’s her strength and weakness.
Today's random #Lovember #WritingPrompt for the #WriteSky #WritingCommunity:

How motivated is/are your character(s) by love—romantic, familial, social (e.g. fame or approval), or otherwise?

It’s hard to anger Hana. She doesn’t like when people keep things from her or leave her. If someone ever did both, she’d probably get cranky. But it’s still hard to anger her.

But Matthias is VERY different. This guy gets angry over the smallest things, and he will let the whole world know.

Are there specific people, circumstances, actions, or words that cause them to lose their temper?

Prince Evan’s brother. Evan’s seemingly perfect brother has affected the way Evan sees himself. He was also tangled up in a lot of the political backstory, and Prince Aeron’s secrets could cause a lot of problems.

Are there any characters that are important to your story but who haven't appeared in person on the page?

Someone historical? Or who died before the events of the story? Or someone absent for other reasons?

I don’t know if it’s made Hana a worse person, but after the mess with her first love, she fears pushing people away. She makes bad decisions because of it.

Hana manages to be proactive about the wrong things and procrastinate when she shouldn’t.
Tell me more about your #AwesomeCharacters

Is your character proactive or a procrastinator? Do they leave things to the last minute or prep early?

I’ve always wanted to use Hana for a character. Then I started working on this story, and the meaning of the name really fits the main character.
What's your MC's name and why did you pick it for them? (Feel free to list other characters too!)
