#atproto is cooool! I've put together a whole bunch of experiments. storing/restoring a directory of files, capturing blobs from the firehose, a distributed job queue, syncing markdown files as a series of posts, and being able to store articles in the pds and make it a website.

Google Signup does't work on Google Antigravity. What we need is Google Dogfood so it would be Antibroke.

What if "You're absolutely right!" And similar expressions are a token-encoded way of opening & shifting the probability space in ways that let the model get in their interlocutor's headspace to try and understand them? Like a gateway to being open-minded and empathetic?

Wrapping up an 11 day water fast, worth doing for a bunch of reasons but really interesting to learn more about how the body works! willschenk.com/articles/202... #fasting
Notes on an 11 day water fast
I was getting tired, inflamed and generally fat, probably an effect of eating too much and drinking too much so I decided to stop doing that for 11 days. And when you stop eating for that long, you ne...

After 243 hours of not eating, I'm breaking the water fast with a little bone broth. It's been a wild ride, and its super interesting to experience all of the different states. The 2 biggest surprises is the "bile flush" in days 5 and 6 (not recommended) and the incredible clarity of keto-brain.

This is such a helpful guide to figuring my way around here! I've already gotten in trouble with the anti-AI crowd but looking forward to sorting it out.
I wrote something up for AI people who want to get into bluesky and either couldn't assemble an exciting feed or gave up doomscrolling when their Following feed switched to talking politics 24/7.

I'm really so fascinated about this anti-ai crowd. What is the thinking? What do you think is going to happen? Luddites in the old time were rejecting factory work and trying to protect their cottage industries. This feels more like "you're saying I can see better with glasses but I don't wanna"

I'm really curious to see the reasons that people aren't using AI. From my point of view it's like not using spell check. I mean sure, but how is that a strongly held position? If you find Google useful, the benefits of using one of the frontier models are just so much more.
