The 1UP Show was one of the biggest influences in my media career and inspired me to create video content. Seeing how cool their office was and the creativity that oozed from each episode, they really raised the bar. What Casey Neistat did to vlogging they did to video games media.

Only minor dev workflows. Utilities are for the layman and lazy, which will always exist.

Sure I could have an LLM convert some stuff for me, but I’ll always lean on a specialized tool - especially at scale requiring reliability or when mistakes are costly.

Going back and watching old Halloween episodes of cartoons like South Park and some of these episodes are timeless. The one with Korn as Scooby Doo? Perfect with this latest Fortnite season.

This one's a real deal breaker. The beauty of MDX is swapping out all the elements with React equivalents. Gives me way more flexibility than using pure CSS (which I'm now basically required to use now).

Lots of weird hoops with this framework. I really want to appreciate it, but it's fighting me.

Strangely enough I can pass completely custom components to MDX pages in Astro, like a nice <Stack> component. But I can't swap out any base elements, like H1 or Blockquote.

Trying to create a "MDX provider" that swaps elements like H1 with a <Heading /> component and AstroJS is fighting me every step of the way. Everywhere else I just wrap a <MDXProvider> around the content and call it a day, with Astro I need to import each explicitly in each file.

I drink Naked Pea Protein probably everyday. It's interesting to see their Mass Gainer blend fail for lead miserably, it makes me wonder what ingedient (or combo) is flagging it - the pea protein, rice protein, and/or maltodextrin?
