Another random old man thought occurred to me tonight: Car stereos used to be such a big thing. Growing up I knew a lot of people with aftermarket upgrades to their car stereos and speakers and I would pass by a lot of shops that specialize in that, but it feels like a totally dead thing now

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.
