they are right to charge $40 for it.. but $40 is not comfort spending for me.. its not enough that i could gift a second copy to a friend so we could play together.. and i recognize that its not on any one person to support an entire game.. that is what it FEELS like in the current space

this game feels like it explains the paradox of being a videogame in 2025.. great solid foundation.. but at a price point most people would hold off on.. thus dooming it to a smaller audience and in THIS games case meaning the UGC part just doesnt go as well..

I am so excited to finally share how *obsessed* I am with the excellent DRAGON QUEST 1 + 2 HD-2D Remake. So long as you aren't a purist over how "faithful" a project like this must be, I think you'll find that this this is one of the best Dragon Quest experiences out there, especially for new fans.

we can do SO MUCH.. yet we are taught to have shame for asking for the smallest things that we need help with

today is the day i figure out that Will and i are 2 sides of the same sicko coin.. i would not be caught dead in a multiplayer league & im sure he wouldnt be caught dead playing ultimate team.. but a lot of the same concepts are there, the struggle to feel like you're not wasting your time
