As the transfers start rolling in, I feel its a good time to share a project I've been maintaining and referencing over the past year. Behold, my everchanging Michigan State depth chart and roster tracker for MSU football and men's basketball:

Shit like this is why you do a coaching search after firing your damn coach, not going along with whoever has been hanging out with donors
SOURCES: USF is expected to hire Ohio State OC Brian Hartline as head coach, @theathletic.com has learned.

He's developed a slew of NFL wide receivers, worked as OC and now gets a head coaching shot. He's expected to keep coaching Ohio State through the CFP. (ESPN first reported).

If you want me to get onboard with your bad coaching hire, raising a billion dollars is a pretty good place to start. That said if J Batt touches the Izzone I will lead the charge to put his head on a stake msuspartans.com/news/2025/12...

I see Sherrone Moore news is spreading online

Surely the AD who lets players drive his car hammered will handle this justtttt fine

What is it with that athletic department and standing on logos after they get their ass kicked? Does Warde send out memos or something? Such cornball behavior, which probably speaks directly to their fanbase...

Keep coming back to this. Anything that's talking themselves into boneheaded hire should look at the Northwestern fans laughing with glee. Fitzgerald has been propped up by playing the B1G West for years and I look forward to the donors having to eat their words and buy him out in 2 to 4 years again
I seriously have no idea why you’d hire Pat Fitzgerald. He wasn’t a playcaller or strategic mind, his whole schtick was selling Northwestern Culture because he played there, and then it turns out that culture featured a brutal atmosphere of sexual hazing

Firing your coach for going 9-15 in two seasons so you can hire a coach who went 4-20 in his last two seasons as a head coach

Reading the tea leaves, everyone get ready to root for a coach who has gone 2-16 in the B1G in the NIL era

This is my final take w/ Smith. This year has been far from fun but Smith arrived with limited talent & limited funds to change it through the portal. The recruits he brought in have flashed & for that reason alone he should be back in EL next fall regardless of what the donors or vocal fanbase say
Tha talent isn't there in the upperclassmen ranks but there have been plenty of Smith recruits making plays as freshman & sophomores. The smart move is to run it back & spend some money in the portal & retaining talent, but CFB is run by donors and they appear to be hellbent on getting Smith fired

Sayin is a freshman. Bo Jackson is a freshman. Jeremiah Smith is a sophomore. OSU's offense is going to be unreal next year, even if the defense regresses. Really feeling like Day is building Saban's Alabama death star again, can't wait to see the chess match next week against IU

So satisfying that OSU has gone back to exposing these weasels as the frauds they are for a change after messing around the last 4 years
