Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

My health care premium is going up twice as much as our social security checks will increase. My property taxes are increasing as well. Trump's presidency and corporate greed is bankrupting seniors.

It seems to me that SCOTUS and the military are the last institutions that have a chance to end our slide into a completely autocratic state. And I'm not comfortable that either have the desire or the will to stand up to the Trump/Maga coup d'état.

Democrats need to stand, once and for all, for Single Payer Universal Coverage healthcare. Make it not just a pie in the sky aspiration, but a solemn vow. With a majority in the House and a supermajority in the Senate, a bill needs to be set before a president to sign.

I saw 'The Kite Runner,' 'The Catcher in the Rye,' and 'The Giver' on a banned book list. You have to be a real fragile cupcake to ban these books from adults. 'The Giver' and 'The Catcher in the Rye' are fine for school libraries. I can see keeping young readers under 14 from 'The Kite Runner.'
