Unless you have a really good reason to do so, do not ever put anything in the reference section. PayPal (and anyone involved in the transmission of money) will reference that field in AML checks and it can get your account suspended/blocked if they think you're doing something suspicious.
Apparently P*ypal now asks for customer opinions on accounts sending invoices.
If you are paying an invoice to a nsfw artist, do NOT mention NSFW in any way, keep it blank even. you risk both your account and the artists.

One of the things I've thought about is how I could've had a lot more success (as in not making as many mistakes) by being more social with other writers.
There is no 'correct' way to write, but there _are_ norms and practises you can do to make it easier for yourself over a long period of time

From a distance it’s kind of heartbreaking to see people bind up so much of their hope for experience of the future, so much of their imagination, into a product which they do not actually own and must promote on the market.
