really hope this is one of those cases where neeson was intentionally misled by the producers, like when kate mulgrew and lawrence krauss got caught up with that weird geocentrism documentary in 2014
SCOOP: Academy Award-nominee Liam Neeson narrated a recent anti-vaccine documentary that glorifies RFK Jr.’s rise to power.

In the film, Neeson—a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador—calls the COVID-19 vaccines “dangerous experiments.”

fun fact that's now relevant because brad lander is running for MY congressional district, he and i used to go to the same kickboxing gym (although not concurrently i don't think? it was a few years ago for me and its also hard to remember faces when you are sweaty and tired)
I’m running for Congress because we need leaders who will fight, not fold. I recognize this moment, and I’m ready to meet it. #FightDontFold #LanderForNYC #LanderForCongress

What skill did you master that you will never, ever use again?

Archival research feels like it’s full of these, but then there’s always one throwback archive with a microfiche machine or a paper catalogue (or, indeed: NARA)
What skill did you master that you will never, ever use again?

Summer of '95 I had a job assembling single-use film cameras, which I did enough that I can still perform the actions. I don't think they even sell them anymore, but even if they do I'm certainly never going to be making them again!

does anyone remember that tweet a few years ago that was like "getting verified on twitter was a big deal because it meant you were either a major household name or an associate editor at a blog" because i want to quote it for something and i don't know where to find it anymore

this is SO low on the list of things that sucks about the Netflix/WB deal but its wild to me that WBD spent so much time working on their own back-end ad tech platform this year and if the deal goes through it's almost certainly gonna get scrapped or swapped out for Netflix's instead

Street Fighter (1994). Taken as a whole the script is a mess, but each individual one-liner is written and delivered with almost genius levels of camp.
Defend a terrible film by picking something from it that saves it.

Wake Up Dead Man was excellent and I cried a little during some of the Josh O’Connor scenes but yeah you can DEFINITELY tell that Rian Johnson (and probably Nathan, too) were raised Evangelical and not Catholic

@defunctland.bsky.social loved the new video! Its not as cool as a Nemo interior but I wanted to share proof that Disney brought two BDX droids to the afterparty for their annual TV upfronts presentation in NYC this past spring. bsky.app/profile/vqne...

i count my blessings every day that my centrist parents moved more left instead of right when MAGA kicked off, but it IS still very weird to me that as a result they now actively watch Jimmy Kimmel and South Park. Like that is not something I would’ve predicted in high school even a little bit
