Well, now I feel less guilty about forking the codex CLI so it can spawn new sessions from an existing one hehe
Oh, waiting for it!
Well, Cummings words and the facts are often uncorrelated.
Nerd Bluesky: is there a Rust (or C++/C) symbolic manipulation library implementing Gröbner basis? SymEngine doesn't.
browsermcp is quite decent.
We need to start a petition for you to show up as a dead redshirt in The Orville.

Getting bullish on the Cryptographic Autonomy License. It's similar to AGPL plus it also guarantees users access to their *data*.

opensource.org/license/cal-....
Yeah, I get that, I'm just more interested in how the side channel works and what are the ways to avoid the information leakage.
Oh, I wouldn't know - I kinda can imagine what likely went wrong but I have no experience in such things.

I'm gladly they are actively moderating the tone, though.

How open is Bluesky to third party code contributions?
I haven't really got into the exploit side of the world since I was 15 and smashing the stack hehe :-)
Sorry for the not so smart question, but what would be a hypothetical fix? Constant time the graphics operations like blur? I'm guessing that's the performance impact that causes no GPU manufacturer to commit fixing this?
lol, those are funny bugs, you can imagine someone writing 'check if a word is within a certain distance of a slur list' as a feature, without checking without a set of known words first.

Check out the original paper here, it’s an interesting glimpse at how scientific GPU compute got some traction:

Wasn't the PS2 the one with the "Emotion Engine' for vector operations? I remember dabbling in a PS1 emulator source code but I was too young to make myself useful.
Thank you for being sensible, some of the reactions in this thread are downright scary.

He could be charged with whatever collaboration crimes may exist in law but stripping people of citizenship is not the way to go.
You are looking really badass in that picture, Professor Mann.

A quiet bombshell in Europe’s tech world

The Dutch government seems to have effectively frozen operations of Nexperia, the Chinese-owned chipmaker, citing national security, according to corporate filing today - via @zichenwanghere

New - Europe’s 3-body problem: collapsing global order sparks hunt for new trajectory

I got to write about one of my favourite Chinese sci-fi novels. Europe, realising it can’t fix systemic chaos, is instead trying to shift its own orbit.
Europe’s 3-body problem: collapsing global order sparks hunt for new trajectory
Some are sceptical the EU’s talk of ‘economic security’ can translate into action, but there are early signs that may be changing.
