Christmas cover boy for December karaoke with @popupkaraoke.com at the world famous Carol's Pub. I'll be there tonight in a different transit related holiday sweater.

(Wasn't searching for pictures of myself; I was checking to see if the menu was updated with December's "Burger of the Month")

Volcano is a good movie basically because it's the only movie that recognizes the innate, superhuman heroism of major metropolitan mass transit agency employees.
this is exactly how lava works

The funniest thing about this comment is that I had taken my first two meetings of the day from bed as he was posting it.
oh, maybe I am Frog and @vinegarmike.bsky.social is Toad after all.
Frog knocked at Toad’s door. “Toad, wake up,” he cried. “Come out and see how wonderful the winter is!”

“I will not,” said Toad. “I am in my warm bed.”

Melissa was part of the “Be Here for the Cure” campaign in 1993. She was 21 yo. She’s still here, more than three decades later. Sometimes, when the present makes me sad or scared, I think about the courage that those young people had to stand up and fight — for their lives — against the stigma.

In 1992, ABC, in partnership with Elizabeth Taylor, presented "New Light: A Call to Action in the War Against AIDS" and Nell Carter sang "Back In The High Life Again" dedicated, against her family's wishes, to her gay brother Dr. Bernard Taylor, who died in 1989.

As I believe is even more true than it was 30 years ago when I lived there, the actual Rural American Liberals and Socialists are voting as hard as they can for the good candidates (if the Democratic Party can even provide them one)
The true "condescending coastal elite" belief that is actually quite pervasive is this idea that Rural America is full of secret Liberals or Socialists who would only agree with us if we properly reached out, but have "no choice" to vote Republican because us "elitists" are so intolerable.

Cherie Johnson has been on TikTok lately telling stories of how Soleil Moon Frye showed absolute solidarity to her throughout Punky Brewster, including ensuring Cherie was in more episodes than they originally planned for.

A kid in my class in the small town I grew up claimed to be cousins (like not first cousins but close) with Soleil Moon Frye, and I am just now at almost 51 years old questioning if that was actually true.

It's either true or like I still thought Life Cereal Mikey died of Pop Rocks & Coke.

[Yes, Chess is also gay Chess. Thank you Jerrad who I sent that original text to but isnt on bluesky.]
