Any time I see something get massively downvoted, it is a gallery of AI slop, or someone used machine translation (MTL) with dodgy results.

Idiotic idea: game that is a boss rush, until you hit the final and it becomes a regular stage that's 30 minutes long like Metal Slug 3 and the final boss isn't a boss, it's a goal post you have to clear that kills you in one hit and sends you back to the beginning of the final stage if you fuck up.

I don't think I'd be lying when I say that I believe Armored Core 1's localization changing the final mission's name to something completely unassuming instead of the more final sounding "Ravens' Nest" was one of the best changes ever made.

It never dawned on me, but NSO is the first time I could play N64 games on a portable without it tanking to single-digit framerates. I used to fantasize about that as a kid, bringing goddamned Banjo-Kazooie with me on the bus trip, that always felt crazy to me, and here it's just casually happening.
