From what I've seen of 4 I reckon I'll massively prefer it to Memories of Celceta but I figure I may as well finish it while It's started.

Ys 1 became one of my favourite falcom games immediately after beating it so yeah Ys 2 kinda just had to be done.

I'm probably finishing Memories of Celceta next since I started that up a while ago and shelved it but who knows I might try that version of Ys 4 before then!

Off the top of my head I think it's Superman Returns on PS2. I just remember hating every second of it until I found an invincibility cheat and used that to beat the game except then it just became incredibly boring as a result.

Thinking about fathers in games and it's a pretty well trodden field for sure but harry mason really does win outright. The man walks into a nightmare town with a gun and a prayer while fighting off his adopted daughter's actualised nightmares all while investigating Silent Hill's drug trade.

After starting it in April 2024, tonight I have finally beaten Ys II Chronicles. It might be the most harrowing game I've played in a long time. The level design can fuck itself and most of the boss fights were not fun at all. I'm so glad I am free of this curse of playing Ys II Chronicles.

having friends to ride were cool and all but I honestly used them more for the health bar buffer than anything else. apart from Kine giving you better maneuverability in water I didn't see Rick or Coo being all that useful. Rick is a fucking bro though I'd die for Rick

Kirby's Dream Land 2 done. Liked it a lot but slightly less than Dream Land 1 and Adventure. Also what the fuck was up with some of those scrolling levels man that was some heinous stuff

Anyway I'm done with the silent hill 2 remake replay for footage. it took 14 hours and I tried to rush. it took 10 more hours to finish this than it took to finish the original last week so yeah. it's arguably a little on the long side

the silent hill 2 remake really fucks up the vibes of the leave ending. no you don't need to show a montage of all the lovely places in south vale. no stop playing music over the thing and why isn't it a big text crawl and no nonono this tHIS ISN'T RIGHT
