Oh yea, with that in mind you are absolutely right. Tho I should have emphasised that I built that map super quickly out of (temporary) assets - they are just for scale. I.e., tiles of 16x16 and characters around 24-27 px height. I will definitely need to think on how to make it all readable...

Yea, there is some of that. Tho I mostly deal with static meshes, so it's way easier (unless you want to have colliders made automatically for you, there is not a lot you need to do?)...

Yea... And nowadays it's different. A lot of things 'just work' under linux. there are just a few things holding me back on windows still... E.g., I wish @marmoset3d.bsky.social would be supported on Linux...

So in my pursuit of studying game design I finally tried Stardew Valley. The game is great. There are a lot of great things one can learn from it. I really like the progression and variety here.
