Godot quick tip. You can have custom icons for your nodes / global classes. Just add [GlobalClass, Icon("res://path.svg")] to your calss declaration.
For GDScript the syntax is @icon("res://path.svg") with class_name.

Decided to go with 480x270 resolution for now. Feels a bit better to me. Finished setting up state machine for controlling player movement and animation. Getting rid of most of the jitter wasn't easy (still not perfect :( )).

So in my pursuit of studying game design I finally tried Stardew Valley. The game is great. There are a lot of great things one can learn from it. I really like the progression and variety here.

While checking out lighting in Unreal 5.6.1 I accidentally made this render from my Low Poly Nature pack. Pretty cool, ain't it?

To get the same look on the demo map, you just need to disable volumetric fog on exponential height fog.

Making showcase level for the retro VCR in Unreal Engine. Prototype meshes are quite useful. I set them up in 4.27 and now I can quickly add them to any future projects.

Aaah, now I get what you mean!

The thing is... that second thing is not a display - it's a slot for VHS tapes. I shouldn't make the logo there glowing probably (but I like glowies 😅)

I'm not the greatest logo designer 😅. But without logo it looks off. And as I intend it for sale, I don't want to use real ones. It's a simple decal, so it is easily to replace it with in-game universe brands.

As for colors.... You remember correctly. See references attached.
