I Googled about one car and AI mentioned I should be careful of the “plastic coolant bypass” and why it should be replaced by a metal one. I asked a dealer if the car had been modified with this and he said he has no idea what the fuck I am on about.
Car has been written off so now looking for a new one. I thought I would be ok but after one day I’m lost. I have no knowledge of anything to do with motors , they are just a means of getting from A to B. The last car I bought was based solely on the fact it had a DAB radio.

There is a poker scene in the latest episode of Pluribus where the bloke has a winning Royal flush and takes his time showing his (unbeatable) hand and everyone cheers at the reveal.

I lived in New Brighton around the same time as these pics where taken and used to go to this place for ice cream after swimming at the beach or the outdoor baths (now knocked down). The shops are still there and havent changed much.

Parr said his brightly coloured, closely observed pictures of British life were ‘disguised as entertainment’ but they became hugely popular
Martin Parr, the British documentary photographer who captured the peculiarities of the nation with clarity and hilarity, has died aged 73. He had been diagnosed with cancer in May 2021.
Known for his acute observations of the English class system, Parr’s images covered sunbathers and Conservative clubs, village fetes and coffee mornings, often in vivid colour and with more than a dash of humour. His iconic 1986 photobook The Last Resort: Photographs of New Brighton captured working-class holidaymakers in the Wirral, Liverpool and helped mark a sea change in British documentary photography, from the gritty, black and white style of the past towards a cheekier and more colourful style.
