I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

ooo it's so interesting seeing how dual quaternion splines solve extreme rotational differences!
I made it prefer the shortest path within the quaternion double cover, so when control points pass the 180 degree switch with its neighbors, the path also changes its shape!

my monitor is slowly failing 😭 right at the end of semester too...
my family planned out a way to get me a new monitor asap but I won't be there during the replacement. that guy is also getting someone to clean the PC from dust and stuff so that's a bit concerning as well...

apparently elastique basically carries the audio industry for time stretching/pitch shifting??? a lot of DAWs have it as an option for these purposes. that's kinda crazy actually. i mean it's an amazing algorithm so I'm not one to complain.
i enjoy how it's utilized in reaper tho

ohhh i just had a did a little hack with reatune to make it detect pitch better and it actually worked...
i just made an extra channel that has a lowpass at like 1~2kHz so it doesn't get confused with any funky harmonics that could make it think parts are unvoiced, specially with whisper tones.
