Our final stretch goal playset has been announced: "The Ninefold City" by @jeeyon.bsky.social. Confront familiar-yet-legally-distinct divine lawgivers in their shining heavenly city and show them what you think of their god-given mandate – if we hit our final goal!
"Eat God" is live on Kickstarter:

Be a blue-furred social justice advocate with detachable limbs, a many-eyed horror with strong opinions about metaphysics, or a jet-powered telepathic crab and stick it to the Man though the power of gratuitous cartoon violence.

did you know that right now, we're only a partial skeleton? we're not fully funded, and so we're missing some critical bones.

this is truth

and sadly not sustainable

help us be a full skeleton?

Absolutely cannot wait to try this out, I love a solo ttrpg and one that encourages me to mark up a physical book? Love the idea.
SPINE has been released on itch! You can download your PDF or a printable booklet today to start playing!

I'm keeping it FREE through the end of October.

SPINE is a solo tabletop RPG that looks like a book. It is your anchor to the fictional world, a prop, and a work of art — a keepsake — that you co-create, all in one.

In SPINE, you quite literally embody a researcher who is reading and marking up the physical book in front of you.

mystery wrestling needs 10 million dollars to make this a reality
Reminds me of the gimmick match that came to me in a fever dream a few years back; 16 wrestlers, 4 rings, 1 waterpark eliminator match.

An interior cage divides the 4 rings, with 4 wrestlers starting in each. If a wrestler is thrown into the pool they can only return to a ring via waterslide.

Hey, I know books are expensive and money is tight right now.

But if there's a brand new book you really wanna read — including my own Lessons in Magic and Disaster — you can help get the book into way more hands by requesting it from your local library!

It's easy! Check your library's website.

15 pages on ULYSSES in the five hours before it was due. I believe I B+'d it.
I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.
wrote 20 pages on Faulkner's The Bear four hours before final papers were due on trucker pills and coffee and cigarettes and got an A, fuck you.
You people couldn't hang with real slackers.

tbh the stark reality is that for nonbinary gender existence to gain much stronger mass traction among the public, it's basically imperative that people also 'allow the body to be nonbinary' i.e. question sexing of the body itself. there's basically no way binary sex & nonbinary gender can coexist

1000xRESIST continues to be 30% off as part of the Steam Autumn Sale! We’ve also just released the third Piano Book!

Run, don’t walk, to play the game that Game Informer calls, “one of the most groundbreaking stories in video game history.”

Klein kept asking "what do you do when 30% of the country believes things that are beyond the pale?" and the answer is that you hold the line even more firmly!

He seems to think that we should should compromise with them but that's a doomed project electorally and indefensible morally.
Yep. This entire interview with Coates was one massive Kinsley Gaffe.
👇🎯 The polite way to say what this conversation reveals is that Coates is operating on a totally different moral plane & Klein is only vaguely able/willing to grasp that difference.
i haven't posted on ao3 for about 5 years so it's always a pleasant surprise to get an email about kudos. today i got *two* emails about comments. i'm a happy writer.

the post office is a public service. it doesn’t need to make money. public transit doesn’t need to make money. the library doesn’t need to make money. some things exist for the public good and we desperately need lawmakers to stop thinking about them in terms of capitalism. these are not businesses.
thing i should be doing: preparing for my interview tomorrow
thing i am actually doing: writing half-formed thoughts about new oc blorbo

so maybe the fact that any time i have significant downtime instead of relaxing i just spiral into depression and self loathing is. a bad sign.
I'm actually looking into stopping T (maybe permanently maybe not), but thank you!
No, I have Sunday/Monday off usually. I think it's more that I have the time and space to get stuck in my own head which I don't have on work days haha
why is it that every sunday like clockwork i feel terrible about myself
