From the classics by the Big Names to stories and authors I have never heard of.
I discovered it by looking up the short story “The Graveyard Rats” by Henry Kutter after rewatching the adaptation of it in Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities. It’s one of the stories included in the podcast.
Maybe this is old news and I am just late like always, but I just discovered this podcast, The Classic Ghost Stories Podcast hosted by Tony Walker.
Each week he reads, as you may have guessed, a classic scary story, mostly from the 1800s and early 1900s.

With everything else going wrong in the world Taylor Swift has the audacity to release an album that is so fuckin ass into a discography that is already pretty ass.

One of my favorite anecdotes from THE PREHISTORY OF THE FAR SIDE: "That doesn't sound like the Jane Goodall we know."

A double feature of ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER and UNDER THE SILVER LAKE.
That’s what my iPad tells me.
One time I had a dream that I would refer to phone or online therapy as boneless sessions and in-person therapy as bone-in sessions.

THE MAGICIAN LONGS TO SEE

ONE CHANCE OUT

BETWEEN TWO WORLDS
If I see an ad on a refrigerator I’m killing myself in front of the hidden camera built into the screen to track my malnutrition levels and ruining an underpaid Samsung employee’s life.
It would be very hot and sexy of you, yes you, the [GENDER] reading this, to invite me to your Plex server.
I love da movies.
Thanks! I haven’t drawn anything like this in a while and it felt Good.
I’m not sure what else I wanna do to it, but this started out as a sketch and turned into something bigger because it’s just fun to look at Dev Patel for many hours.
Another day proving Bluesky simply does not have the juice.
Twitter sucks but it’s got jokes.
It is! For some reason though my hotel didn’t have these diagrams anywhere in the rooms. It would have saved me from a lot of angry guests who were being stumped by their unintuitive showers.
I worked in a hotel for many years and SOME BUT NOT ALL of the rooms had showers like these so I would get calls from people in the morning about how to get their shower to work and do you know how hard it is to describe doing this over a phone?
Oooh, a promising entry in the always-competitive category “insanely counterintuitive and user-unfriendly designs for hotel bathroom fixtures.”

If I hadn’t found the diagram— which is in the check-in materials, not posted— there is simply no way I *ever* would have found this solution.

🚨TOSHIRO MIFUNE IN A CROP TOP🚨
People are listing some fine movies, sure, but no one has recommended FOES (1977) and that’s a shame.
I ain’t believing shit until I hear it from the only reliable news source of the past five years.
I’m sure once I post this I will think of different choices I wish I would have gone with, but these are the first ones that came to mind.
