Part 2 of my autobiographical video series is finally out!

Focusing on middle school with it's prismatic explosion of art! Manga, horror movies, metal music... It's all there. This were the edgelord years!

Watching 80's horror and exploration movies is always fun if you have a weird bugaboo about synthwave. Your 80's nostalgia is missing unconvincing DX7 horns and an e-piano.

Sought this channel out after you talked about it in an episode last month(?) and it immediately went up there as the third booktuber to give an ear to.

The salt water air weathers your metal shell. You wish you were breathing it in rather than a stale, filtered version of it. Wish you could see the sky in all its brilliant nuance rather than through pared down eyes made for killing.
Mixed traditional/digital painting of a maschinen krieger model I have using ref I took on a trip to Newport!

which I thought I would've disliked more. Sure, most of the songs are pretty bad but Promise of a Fever and Better to Reign in Hell speak to me in a way I hope I had left in my teenage years. Weird memories of listening to this album while playing Hitman: Blood Money.

I sometimes have a profoundly stupid kind of brain that needs setting up the mood to write something specificly difficult. This has lead me into a situation where I'm writing about Matthew Barney's River of Fundament while listening to Nile (obvs) but also Cradle of Filth's Damnation and a Day

someone on the Motorola forums was having the same problem with the camera I've been having, but I just have to share the image they posted to demonstrate the issue.
it's the funniest shit I've ever seen in my life dude

The photo is of an elderly woman in gray clothes that has been so bizarrely processed that it looks both totally over and desaturated

Watched this because my partner is a fan of the books, expected cliche and stereotypical “gay romance.”
Got something incredible, heart rending, exciting, surprising, tragic, witty, complex… it’s so, so good and as this poster says, a different beast than the original novel.

Both seasons of Interview with the Vampire are on Netflix. One of the best literary adaptations in the history of television, it takes all the source material's strengths and transmogrifies all its weaknesses, like The Terror. Cruel, disgusting, sexy as fuck. Plus: Eric Bogosian! Do not walk, RUN.

I cannot understand what these people think the purpose of human life is?

It is *not* "pursue joy, deal justly, love well, try to understand as much and see as much of this beautiful world and of the deepness, richness and variety of human culture and experience as you can before you die"?

How is this repeatedly made into a policy issue - by *all* parties - when the blunt fact of the matter is that grown adults who are obliged to pay for their own education, and relentlessly pursued to repay their loans, should be able to study whatever the fuck they want.

The second just insane photo I’ve seen of last night’s moon. This was in the UK. Captured by Oliver Bennet Photography. I’ll try to find the other one and post it below. Meanwhile, my photos of the same moon would look like a toenail on a distant and dirty floor.

It was with the Hexwessel, if memory serves? Never been that big into them so went to see something else. Don't regret it that much, especially now. Will always regret going to see Mono instead of Pharmakon because my friend asked me to. Great to hear OP was better this time around!

I am annoying enough to say that Muukalainen Puhuu and their split with Candy Cane yet remain their best material. That stuff can change a room into a the surface of the Moon.

Oranssi Pazuzu is one of those bands I feel like I will just go feral talking about. I saw them at a local summer festival around Kosmonument and them closing out the set in radiant midsummer light with Uusi Olento Nousee... That changed something in me.
