Day 18 - Sinister (2012) - Y'know what? it might be a bit slow to get going. But I think this one was actually pretty neat all things considered.
Before being hacked, her channel had almost 2k vids and she was SUPER close to 2k Subs. Shes a great gal with some fantastic thoughts and she worked her ass off at the old place, so any help she can get in revving up the new place would be BEYOND appreciated!

The raw hatred is almost unbearable. But I’m withstanding it so I can report the truth back to y’all in the Homeland.
Day 17 - Hellraiser: Hellseeker (2002) 'What if 'Hellraiser', but ACTUALLY 'Carnival of Souls' with a dash of 'Fight Club' presented through the lens of 'Freddys Nightmares'?! Its not as fun as it sounds...
Day 16 - Phantasmatapes (2025) - A Psychotronic dip into the wonderful world of Lo-fi public domain...I wasnt totally sold on this one...but as a 'vibe' film, it ticked all the right boxes.
Zombie month just keeps on lumbering! As this week we take a look at an Italio-Spanish coproduction...largely shot in the peak district in the UK...Wild!

Day 15 - Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013) - The missus quite enjoyed the first one a couple of days back, so we decided to give the sequel a go. Its solid enough (y)
@trivialtheater.bsky.social Also sent me enough Stoogery to get me through to 2040! :D
Once again @trivialtheater.bsky.social has kindly forwarded a HELL of a haul my way (alongside some VERY tasty treats!) I don’t even know where to begin! :D

So! Every year over on Twitter, I used to take part in the '31 Films in 31 Days' challenge for Halloween! But Twitters all swampy and weird now...So im gonna be doing it here!

To be honest, im not sure if I did it here last year, but WHO CARES! We're going for it baby! this'll be year 6!!!
Day 14 - Deadstream (2022) - Probably one of my favourite horror films of the 2020s and HIGHLY accurate of the average youtuber experience! A lark to be sure!
There's so many...but this one's definitely up there for me :)

youtu.be/VW9y0OXgHNY?...
Day 13 - Hellraiser: Inferno (2000) - A film that asked the question...what if 'Hellraiser'...but also...'Se7en'?!...eesh!
ALSO! as we're nearing the midway point, I thought i'd mention that all the films being watched as part of this challenge are being fully reviewed and shared on both my Letterboxd and my website :) I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON ME FINGERS!!!

Day 12 - Insideous (2010) - A first time watch, AND a film made in the last 15 years! Result!
Oh man that sounds awesome! :) I'll be running my own 'double feature' stream for the season next weekend unfortunatley; but best of luck with it! i'd love to see it as in tact as possible as it feels like so much got shortened out!
I havent caught the workprint cut unfortunately, last night was just the theatrical :) I did make sure to watch the 'deleted scenes' though later on when looking through the extras on Arrow videos very nice 4k set, and ive DEFINITELY gotta crack that workprint cut sooner rather than later! :)
I'd go a little further on this theory and say 5.5-6.5 almost guarentees a 90% chance that the film will strongly make you feel something, and is creatively sound. With a 9% chance it'd actually just a 'mid' film. But he's pretty bang on!
My grand theory is that 6.5 is the ideal rating on IMDb for an interesting movie because it means it alienated idiots. If you’d like proof: Almost every Kiyoshi Kurosawa movie is rated between 6.3-6.9.
Day 11 - Petey Wheatstraw (1977) - Probably my favourite Rudy Ray Moore movie. And with good reason! Goddamn!
Day 10 - Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996) - Pinhead...IN....SPAAAAAAAAAACE!!!! (I unironically think this movie is fun!)
Day 9 - The Little Vampire (2000) - Another day, another vampire kids movie...this one wasn't half bad at least!
