This is one of the many reasons I hate AI: It diminishes our emotional reactions to the REAL interesting/beautiful/horrifying/amusing things all around us. The real world is an amazing place and AI is the opposite of amazing.

We decided to get the service desk system we were looking at, with implementation 2027 (because in 2026 it's all about the new library system).

When I had shingles and was lying awake in pain, one of the things I focused on was that my godkids and niblings got chickenpox vaccine rather than chickenpox, so they don't have varicella hanging around their bodies waiting to reactivate at the worst time of their life.
It sucked.

Yearly vaccinations for the cats is coming up in a week or so. Zevran has developed a dislike of going pretty much anywhere since he’s had a few bad times where he had to go to the vet. I am now experimenting with keeping the carriers out instead of tucked away in storage.

Planning to get bread and pile it with tomato, avocado and mozzarella for dinner. Maybe some pesto or aioli beneath.

Today is explaining to boss boss why we have to do the systems management plans, going through the (omg finished) systems management plans with her and putting her stamp of approval on them and communicating that yes, next year this process will take much less time.

I have been perfectly happy since the switch to Tidal, the playlist transfer was pretty seamless and my literal only problem is remembering which icon to use on my phone to get to the music since I can't find the green circle anymore
Last full week before vacation. Much less stressful than the previous one, but contains weekend work.
