Good heavens, I didn't know this fabulous video is on YouTube. It's lovely to see my friends and neighbours Brian and Wendy Froud when they were still so very young! I've spent the last year helping them with a new book (we're not allowed to reveal the subject yet), which will be out in autumn 2026.

Yesterday we had a tenant's association meeting and I helped with the nonfunctional router/provided my hotspot network for them to print stuff. Then I helped the chairwoman with her computer - she'd dragged her browser window out of frame and didn't know how to get it back.

Ordered a new dryer. Gets here either Friday or next Friday (days I know I have off in the near future). Delivery, installation plus they take the old one away.

Hmm, I had not forgotten, it seems. The sheets were still damp now this morning. The drier is running but not getting warm. I'll have to research what the problem is.

Discovered when I was ready for bed and about to put my newly washed and dried sheets on the bed that I had forgotten to actually push the on button on the drier... I have no desire to bring out old, mismatched sheets of the wrong size, so bare bed and pillows tonight.

Soup started - should be done late afternoon. I’m going to watch slow tv, I think. This cat is Luffar-Lasse, probably translated as Walkabout Willie or something similar to get the gist of what he does. There’s an entire weekend of him doing his thing both from last year and 2025.

Converted the embroidered tote bag I bought to a sweater project bag.
Some ribbed knitting held up by an embroidered tote bag. My nails are still yellow - holding up well!
