It’s important to understand what Republicans mean by this I think.

They mean no one gets any accommodation so if the state is oppressing black voters and privileging white voters, that’s like a natural state and attempts to fix that are UNEQUAL.

You can love flawed parents and still reject their influences.

You know what the answer is: your parents were bad at parenting. Probably dealing with trauma that they can't or won't address and passed that trauma on to you.

That's the worst kind of re-gifting and you can and should reject their perception of you because it is flawed.
