I really struggle with falling into the pit of despair when I lose (or just play bad in general) but I always pull myself out of it by telling myself there's going to be a next bracket, another set, and I have the tools at my disposal to win next time. I try to make the loss power me up.

This is the take of a SMS and Asuka player so take it with a grain of salt--but I really think indie fighters should experiment more with adding free guard cancels instead of almost always adding a parry. It's an incredibly interesting mechanic (and imo the parry is just so overused at this point)

finished with all my vortex brackets for this year. top 8 in asuka, won SMS and 4th place in koihime, pretty proud of that and hoping to do even better next year (especially in asuka which is where I feel I have the most potential).
