No cops were beaten with flag poles or sprayed with bear repellant, no feces were smeared on walls inside govt buildings, no widows smashed or furniture 'stollen'.
Yesterday obviously did not happen with tourists - we must be terrorists, right?!

That's what the 3.5% estimate addresses. When protests reach a certain tipping point, the probability of the current party being ejected is very high. (I'm paraphrasing.) If people are willing to travel to protest for 3 hrs, then they'll show up to vote in their own neighborhood.

Good point!
When ICE "arrests" someone (could be anyone, incl American citizens) is that person owed an explanation of their Miranda Rights? If not, then it's not a legal arrest, right? They may say they are detaining non-citizens, but what is the basis of their legal authority to detain Americans?
