I think a lot of people are equating "AI" with things like LLM, and stable diffusion, ... these things that use neural nets and machine learning to effectively "create" something from nothing

No wait, this is backwards. Orphan crusher is "good story about saving children from orphan crusher" .... This is more like "don't anthropomorphize a lawn mower, it doesn't care it's cutting off your limbs" ... Company is going to do anything to save a buck, don't let them with weak regulations.
This is like that orphan crushing machine. Holiday/stat pay should be an inaliable right. No company should have that ability. This is what deregulation gets us 😞

So this is neat, it's actually a Rube Goldberg machine that involves an ATM spitting out a tiny amount of cash to burn, fueling the generator that cools the ticket printer. They assure us this is completely necessary.

We used to tax the rich until Reagan robbed the country to fatten a few. The 80’s gave us Trump and trumpian excess after the “drop out” 70s. This was only decades ago, in my lifetime, and yet it’s already spiraled into this hellscape. This is untenable! TAX THE RICH. Or eat them. Or be eaten.

It's the ol "my name is first name bunch-o-numbers and I have the worst opinions" schtick.
There's some good people in that thread, but it's an uphill battle against a right-wing, racist propoganda machine.
