Welp. Do some soul searching tomorrow. Then channel the 2021 Bucks and rip off 4 straight.

Go Brewers

Yeah it seems almost unavoidable at this point

Me, a total rube for owner PR , “is a salary cap a good idea?”

Baseball version of the Tim
Duncan Spurs

He’s inherited the time honored tradition of being the Brewers regular season offensive MVP that disappears in the postseason

Fair point, unless they just wanted any lefty bat, which Perkins gives them as well.

Either way feels unlikely Perkins would be out there, which is just too bad considering how much that D would help
tstads.bsky.social
Feels unrelated, but if Yeli (or anyone else really) was hitting the ball better, probably don’t feel the need to start Bauers and Perkins is out there instead.

How did the Brewers smoke these guys 6 times in the regular season?

The Yelich disappearing act has crushed this offense
cyrthogg.bsky.social
Since his double to lead off Game 3 of the NLDS, Christian Yelich is 0 for 15.

Like Corbin Burnes or Zack Greinke? 😜

The “lay all your hopes on Freddy” has, uh, not worked out this postseason.
tstads.bsky.social
They look bored being out there. Straight up hotshot jocks at high school shit

Jackson Chourio is now tied for the Brewers career postseason home run record. He is 21 years old.

Certainly not denying that, but it’s got them to the NLCS. To your point, that’s just how this team was built though, and Murph’s gonna ride with the dogs that got them here.

Giants burned the candle at both ends with like 6 pitchers years ago and won a title, fatigue is just a concept in October 🤣

I just think the margin for error is going to be so slim, and they literally were an inch away (if Brice doesn’t jump out of the way) from potentially winning.

We keep forgetting that before last week, the guys all had an extra AS break. They certainly aren’t fresh but potentially have more juice?

We’re all thinking it. Anything close to you you wear it in that situation and say thank you for the run

easy to say from my couch but you gotta stand there and let that hit you.

You can run pitchers out on back to back days, it’s been done. This playoffs even!

“why are the Brewers using their best pitchers to chase a win in a one-run game at home in game 1 of the NLCS”

Does everyone hear themselves right now?
tstads.bsky.social
Freeman and Ohtani were always gonna get theirs, just gotta limit the damage and find a way to score here

Interesting. I think I’d be in favor of this since Woodruff is already ruled out, and only guaranteed off day is Wednesday, so you need more length

Logan Henderson is in Milwaukee and "could be" a part of the NLCS roster. It's a tough situation, Pat Murphy said, throwing him in the fire without game action but something being considered.
