2/2 yrs in prison if a candidate is caught taking ANY type of illegal donations. Those that donate illegally also face the same - No parole eligibility in either case. Politicians caught are banned for life from elected or appointed political office on the 1st offense.

1/2 We can end corporate money in politics by mandating all political donations are only from registered voters - then to a hard Constitutional cap that only can be raised by a referendum of the people, say $5k per person, per candidate, per year. NO other donations of any type allowed. Mandatory 10
