Yup. Same. Which is why I went looking. But this is confirmed, but probably a lot more limited than people are hoping for.

After Epstein's 2019 death "prosecutors produced a seven-page memo on co-conspirators they might consider charging and followed that with an 86-page update in December ... a 13-page memo of corporate prosecutions they might pursue and a 26-page memo regarding another target prosecutors considered."
New trove of apparent Epstein files posted on DOJ site disappear
The Justice Department didn’t respond to requests for comment on the new documents or the decision to remove them.

TO DO LIST/

1. Confirm authenticity of note
2. Compare signature to other JE signatures
3. Determine note's chain of custody
4. Determine if "short route home" means self-harm
5. Find out who read/knew of note

If the note is real, it *is* a clear allegation of child sexual assault(s) against Trump

OH MY GOD THEY DID
Oh did they do that thing where they're just another layer in the PDF.
I have to presume they’ve redacted all these Epstein documents in such a hamfisted way that you just need to dial up the brightness in Photoshop to be able to read them

First Elon Musk at Twitter, now Bari Weiss at CBS. What’s next, finding out others who loudly proclaimed themselves free speech champions never valued free speech at all, and were always doing “speech I like must be widely distributed and cannot be criticized, speech I don’t like must be censored”?

Ok. Now had a chance to check and, well, at least some docs do appear to be straight up classic redaction fail. And there are some *interesting* bits here.

In my postcode this year out of a population of 16,936 there are 1959 registered firearms owners, up 352 from 2023.

One owner has 109 guns - WTF. The average is 3.8

Amazing. David Shoebridge is responsible for this resource

I love how insane the Australian sun is. Like, moderate is 3 and they recommend protection for anything above it. Today; 12. That’s above extreme. It’s so common for it to go even higher, there’s blank space above the extreme label just for us to go into. It used to say ‘fucked’ til they changed it.

I got the UFO files from the Woomera rocket range in South Australia out of the National Archives - a huge % of the sightings were the planet Venus, but there was one that I couldn't dismiss, 3 military aviation observers in different locations. Hmm....
I think we need a mega thread of everyone's craziest archive stories.

Every single bit of #emissions we can prevent is worth fighting for. No matter how bad things are this will remain true until the very last gram of emissions. It will continue to remain true when we start pulling emissions out of the atmosphere and restoring a safe atmospheric balance over time.

I think there really needs to be better terms for & differentiation between genAI / chatbots / LLM’s etc. & AI processing for pattern recognition in particular (engineering, medical research) industries.

I think it’s been intentionally confused by the marketing & language around it.
