This is it exactly.
Yeah. Before the fall, CK's act—and his fandom—rested on the premise that his worst self wasn't his true self. Now it's the opposite, and that's just not interesting as comedy.
He is just generally an alt-right, unrepentantly racist and transphobic piece of shit. He is also a genuinely bad comedian, much in the way that thin-skinned assholes often are 🤷‍♀️

Federal immigration enforcement officials called off a planned raid on Canal Street today shortly before it was slated to begin.

New Yorkers who heard about the raid showed up at the garage where the feds had gathered, and as federal agents tried to leave, the NYPD cleared the way for them.

You can check the tape and my work, I was hyper hyper critical of Obama’s ramping up of drone wars (which trump ramped up considerably) and the civilian deaths they caused
This is different, and cannot be shrugged off are merely an extension (which it, well, is) of the global war on terror anymore…

For those who don’t know, Jack served in the Bush administration but resigned in protest of the extra constitutional claims made by the administration. He’s no left wing radical, but he care about the Constitution.

He has forgotten more about executive power than I could ever hope to learn.
Harvard Law School’s Jack Goldsmith:

“In short, if the Post’s facts are correct, it appears that Special Operations Forces committed murder when the ‘two men were blown apart in the water, as the Post put it.’”

I can’t recommend her work enough. With this so generously shared free, there’s no reason not to get into some of it.
Make it a FREE book.

Making it free meant I had to do the publishing work myself because publishers want to make money. They’re funny that way.

It’s also a YouTube series.

You can find links to the free book here: terikanefield.com/whyextremism...

It's on the major platforms.

It’s finished.

It’s also not finished because, in the words of Paul Valéry, a piece of writing is never finished. Ultimately it is abandoned. That’s because writing is thinking, and we’re never finished with that.

Anyway, I figured out what to do with that long blog post . . .

Stoppard always feels clever in a way that so so many writers mimic, but everyone else copies the surface. the Stoppard magic is that the cleverness is impossibly thin, basically transparent, and there’s this unending well of feeling on the other side

Protesters in NYC literally blocked an ICE convoy from leaving their staging garage. People are learning from other cities. They’re finding ICE staging areas. They’re patrolling neighborhoods. They’re building rapid response networks. ICE is on the defense now.
ICE garage blockaded in lower Manhattan with dozens of agents stuck inside as more and more New Yorkers gather.

NYPD observed staging on Canal & Broadway, expected come over for crowd control.

I have a modest proposal for the Bengals: what if when you unexpectedly get possession near your end zone, you then score a TD.
If I were the Ravens I would simply stop letting Ja’Marr Chase catch the ball
