I have one dumb* birthday wish: for @anonymouseagle.bsky.social to accept my apology for mislabeling my other account as a burner, which prompted them to block it. (@praymubb.bsky.social exists not only as a #mubb feed, but also to spare my non-bball friends)

*also embarrassing to become “that guy”

Judging my the lack of engagement, I’ve overestimated the middle of the Big East & The Substance fans Venn diagram.
“Pump It Up” is playing in the Maui gym, which if you’ve seen “The Substance” means something different. Meanwhile, UConn looks like they’ll do anything to look like their former selves.

With DePaul atop the Big East standings, it’s time to ask the important questions like: What cliche will Jon Rothstein create for Chris Holtmann wins?

Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1k/month. A year later, nearly half had housing.

They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.

The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.

Participants in Denver's basic-income program reported having more-secure housing, though results were similar in the trial and control groups.
