I've understood the push to move soccer out of the "play a whole bunch of competitive matches in 10 weeks, and that's your season" model and towards a full school year approach, I get how that's better for player health & development

I'm not sure this is better for college soccer.

News: a U.S. Soccer-led committee proposes a shake-up of college soccer.

The recommended men's model would override current conferences, include an element of pro/rel, and extend the season fall-spring.

HALF TIME: Villanova 2, Marquette 0

Wildcats attempted just 1 shot in the final 34 minutes of the half vs 6 for the Golden Eagles, but nothing breaking through for MU.
