In other news, I was watching a movie and you know how they sometimes put text on screen and then don't translate it? Well. I looked at it. I COULD READ IT. It said Kochi. I was so chuffed. I mean, I'm ridiculously bad at reading, but I did it! Woot!

I'm having one of those moments where I ordered something a week ago, and the shipping company they use has turned out to be ridiculously bad (including claiming they couldn't deliver the package when I could see on the tracking they were right around the corner from us and NEVER CAME UP OUR STREET.

Yesterday I woke up with a massive headache, today with a terrible sore throat, and it feels like when I had Covid, though how someone who rarely leaves the house and is always masked gets Covid, who knows?

I rarely get political in public, but I just want to acknowledge that today is Holodomor Memorial Day, meant to honour the Ukrainians intentionally starved (Holodomor means "death by hunger") by Stalin's regime. Yes, a genocide, in a world that tends to ignore them.
