Benignant [buh-NIG-nunt]
(adj.)
- Kindly, gracious, and benevolent.

From “benign” (exerting a good influence) on model of its opposite, “malignant”

Used in a sentence:
“He offered a benignant smile that suggested he might forgive you for existing—so long as you stopped doing it so loudly.”
Grandiloquent Word of the Day logo - Sepia-toned graphic with a baroque Victorian typeface and an illustration of a little girl offering a cup of milk to a kitty.

I'm thinking the S10 soundtrack might be released around that time.

Possible other things are - announcement of another colourisation (if they're continuing) and maybe an update for The War Between The Land And The Sea.

Think you mean 'New Beginnings'. 'The Beginning' was the boxset of the first three Hartnell stories.

“The idea behind a kaleidoscope is that it's a structure that's filled with broken bits and pieces, and somehow if you can look through them, you still see something beautiful. And I feel like we are all that way a little bit.”

This is exactly the problem with Doctor Who the past few years (they've had cinematic lenses since 2018). For me, the Moffat era looked fine - HD but not overly cinematic. As for 4K Ultra HD, it looks horrible. So unnecessarily hyperrealistic.

TV today seems so desperate to be that dreadful word: ‘cinematic’. ‘We’ve got new lenses to make it look cinematic’. ‘Our lighting will make this series more cinematic.’ 3/

Reading for pleasure has fallen by 40 percent since 2000. This is not progress. You should read because it's good for your brain, your soul. You should read because our freedoms will not long endure in a post-literate world. Most of all, you should read because it's fun.
