Today is International Men’s Day. So here’s to refugee men fleeing abuse, trans men denied healthcare, queer men bullied for being different, Black men racially profiled, disabled men excluded from work, and all the other men who fail at being “real men.” May we continue to cultivate our humanity.

Bird netting kills. Birds trapped inside suffer slow, painful deaths.

Look up! Bird netting causes immense suffering. Let’s end it once and for all.

The lucky ones escape. The unlucky ones die a slow, painful death. It’s time to end bird netting, not just for pigeons and gulls, but for all bird species.

I really hate it when scientists keep saying that “we need to rebuild trust in science,” because it implies that scientists are to blame for the mistrust rather than the millions of dollars of dark money that have funded political attacks on science in order to advance a far right agenda.

"My Doctor wouldn't support the system 😤", your Doctor left a child on an alien surface for no reason to be gobbled up by the giant space egg baby spiders to prove a stupid point to someone else, if Jodie did that would you be complaining? Of course. Because what's the *real* issue here?

100% I think if another controversial Doctor Who writer called Pete (if I had a nickel etc etc) wrote the same episodes in the same way with the Twelfth Doctor, the people complaining, wouldn't. Because fandom has been taken over by era loyalty, not just... watching the damn show and figuring it out

Pete McTighe could show his voting record, break down his notes, explain clearly what he is trying to say in his episodes, go through the *entire writing and conceptual process* and explain with running commentary every minute detail and STILL have people assume things his episodes aren't saying.

Cannot see that question without thinking of Brad Pitt in Se7en. Also, as a Doctor Who fan, can't help but smile at seeing the guy who played the Toymaker (the God of Games) now hosting a gameshow.
