I can not roll my eyes hard enough. UK Labour set a terrible precedent and every credulous gawper that followed suit only has themselves to blame when every internet-able adult in all these countries have their government IDs appear in massive leaks and bulk scams. No wrench attack needed.c

Today’s historic pic: The northbound Cooma Mail double headed by 42206 and a 44 class Alco runs towards the Canberra line junction at Queanbeyan, NSW, on a Saturday in early December 1984. The Cooma Mail last ran in 1986 but the Canberra line still today still gets three daily Sydney-Canberra trains

being that this is the case, imo there should be a platform through which any group of folks can recieve donations easily and this should get normal

for instance everyone from a laid-off dev team gets put in a group, i donate 100 bucks, my 100 bucks is split equally between the people in the group

Today's historic pic: GM23 sits at South Dynon depot, West Melbourne, September 28 1985. Due to motive power shortages, three of these classic locos (GM23, GM24 and GM28) were hired from AN by VLine from 1983 until 1985 to haul passenger and goods trains on the Melbourne - Albury standard gauge line

Much as I like good clean design (and flat-shaded rounded squares IMO aren't - good, that is ), I love this energy so much. What if the classic mouse-made pixel art icons of old got more definition and went wild with it?
last week i remembered that macOS lets you set your own icons and that *I* have the power to delegitimize the professionalism of the software that runs on my machine, so here's a thread of the 16 new icons i've made so far

i really forgot how fun it was to just sit down and make art for myself :')

Please give this a watch, comment or share.

It's a lovely video that's being quickly buried by the algorithm, and more people should see this incredible layout in which all the rolling stock has been custom painted by me over the last 15 years!

My dad is in his 70s. He had never painted a thing in his life.

5 years ago he picked up a water paint brush for the first time and followed a tutorial on Youtube.

Just last week, he painted this.
