BoCo joins the RWS fleet!
Nothing too complicated as expected; repainting the bufferbeam red, and renumbering. Like Bear (but unlike real Class 28’s) he wears both numbers; D5702 on the front, D2 on the back!

Picked up a Triang catalogue for a few pennies just now
Prototype 9F? It doesn’t have the Ringfield motor or scale drivers advertised, using the chunky drivers from the Jinty and non powered Britannia tender, and the numbers and name decals have silvering around them, possibly from the Airfix kit?

And that's a wrap! My #modelrailway project for the last 10 months has been submitted as a competition entry (Build a 'tuning fork' layout), it's now up to the vote to see how it ranks.
Very much Wisbech & Upwell Tramway inspired, particularly Outwell, it came about because of an April Fools joke!

Here’s the boxcab loco now complete. Dcc fitted and running good on a motor bogie chassis. It needs a few more weights to pull more but it can pull a car or two currently. Have to figure out how I will tackle making the second unit to make a complete set of LIRR boxcabs.

The well wagon returns! Now carrying this extra special load. This is a LNWR Problem Class locomotive. It arrives in the same condition that Cornwall did almost a year ago now! There'll be more updates on her as the restoration process gets under way! 😁
