He also sent over this regauged Hornby Dublo 8F which needs working on, I think I’ll be sending it back once I have the repairs done but I need to check, it needs a magnet and some OO gauge Romford axles as it’s been regauged, I believe to EM

I wouldn’t call the disassembly of Barry 10 locos for newbuilds “scrapping”, not in the traditional sense at least, the components were going to good use, be it keeping existing engines running, or allowing new ones to be built

I don’t think anyone was denying it happens though

From what I’ve heard from friends, the entire thing stemmed from someone egging on their friend who loves the E4, guy who posted the tweet said something like “someone check if Birch Grove is ACTUALLY there” and included a photo implying Birch Grove had been taken away

It was comments and replies to the initial tweet which implied Bluebell had plans to/had scrapped the E4, the initial tweet was a joke, but the fandom did what it always does and blew it out of proportion, I’m not on Twitter so I haven’t seen it first hand, this is all what I’ve heard from friends
