RIP Drew Struzan, creator of many iconic movie posters, including the one for my favourite movie BTTF. Other fave Struzans include the two other BTTFs, Goonies and Big Trouble In Little China, Revenge Of The Jedi teaser and many more.

Steam review: This game doesn’t merely ooze with charm — it secretes it, thick and slow, from pores that shouldn’t exist. Each surface trembles as if beneath it, something vast and unseen squirms and breathes. The charm is alive here, a sentient fluid that remembers older, wetter worlds. It seeps between pixels, whispering through the code in languages not meant for lungs.

It pulses beneath the menus like veins beneath translucent flesh, its rhythm too steady to be human. Sometimes the charm glistens with a light that isn’t reflection, a phosphorescent shimmer like the soft wink of something watching from the dark. When you play, it reaches back — not maliciously, but hungrily — tasting you through the buttons and wires.

And when you close it, you’ll feel it still. In your fingertips. In your teeth. In the soft, wet corners of your dreams.

In the replies we came up with an amazing new setup where everyone would get month-long Halloween and month-long Christmas, but it would be MUCH better than how we do it now. Government petition coming shortly.

Yeah! This is good actually, swing Halloween away from October over to November, so everyone's just terrified for the entire month, and then suddenly switching to Christmas on December 1st is a HUGE relief.

I could possibly get onboard with this as long as the expansion doesn't include Halloween novelty songs on the radio and in shops all day every day. Metal and horror movie scores would be acceptable.

Delighted to announce that EARTH MUST DIE is available in English, French, German and Simplified Chinese.

I've never localised a game before and BOY is it quite the journey/ headache. The number of things that can go wrong with all your UI is ASTONISHING.

Every time I watch ALIEN I am transfixed thinking to myself "there's no way they've left themselves enough room to get the third horizontal line in that E without it looking like a squashed-in mess!" but no, every single time there it is, and it's beautiful. Most tense part of the movie tbh.
